Briar's Story

My Name is Briar Ward and I am currently working for Youth Insearch as the Administration Assistant for Program and Development. I have been involved with Youth Insearch since 2006 when I began attending the Programs as a participant.

When I first came to Youth Insearch I suffered from low self esteem and had very little self confidence. I did not have goals and wasn’t making the right decisions in my life. Through the love and support of the program I gained the confidence and self esteem to change my behaviours, and set goals with the determination to achieve them.  I completed my Youth Insearch Leadership training in 2007 and am now an accredited Leader.

Due to my employment with Youth Insearch I have now made the move from Sale in Victoria to Sydney and am enjoying getting to experience another beautiful part of our country! My goal now is to support the Youth Insearch Program in all that I do and to help train many more young leaders, so that they can continue to deliver our Program successfully.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the supporters of Youth Insearch for all that you do.
